What we collect
Nothing you type. There is no account, no newsletter signup, no comment form, and no contact form on this site. The only way to reach us is email, and an email tells us exactly what you chose to put in it.
We do measure which pages get read. That runs on Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you across sites. It records the page, the referring site, and coarse details like country, device type, and browser. It does not record your name, your email, or your IP address in a form we can read.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share reader data. We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, social tracking scripts, or session recording. We do not set cookies of our own.
When you leave the page
Some articles link to Amazon through the associate tag homesaunag-20, described in our affiliate disclosure. Following one of those links hands you to Amazon, and Amazon applies its own privacy policy, cookies, and tracking from that point. The same is true of every other outbound link — manufacturers, manuals, certification bodies, and health publishers all set their own terms.
Older articles may embed material such as video players hosted elsewhere. Those embeds can set their own cookies when they load.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps short-lived operational request logs — the kind any web host needs to serve pages, block abuse, and diagnose faults. That processing is Vercel’s, under its own terms.
Email you send us
If you write to hello@homesaunaguide.com, we keep the message so we can answer it and, where you have reported a factual problem, so we can show our work when we correct the page. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Children
This site publishes home construction and bathing guidance for adults. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Because we set no cookies and hold no account, there is little to opt out of. Browser-level tracking protection, script blocking, and Do Not Track all work normally here and cost you no functionality. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.
Changes
If what the site collects ever changes, this page changes with it and the effective date moves. We will not quietly widen the collection and leave the old text standing.
